The "SDSC You'll Never Walk Alone 5k in Memory of Karina Fares" was created in 2013 to support its members on and off the field when unforeseen hardships arise. The YNWA5K is dedicated to the memory of 12-year-old Karina Fares and a portion of the race's proceeds provides camp scholarships for local youth.
